Work Hard, Play Hard
Training Is the Fun Part
We’ve talked a lot about how wild it is to start a business—but now it’s time to dive into why we’re really here: the training. Because this is the fun stuff. The why behind everything we’re building.
Let’s start with our training philosophy. It’s simple:
We love to learn.
Learning is at the core of everything we do. It fuels growth, helps us adapt, and ultimately makes us better—for our athletes, our coaches, and our entire organization. We’re not just here to teach—we’re here to grow right alongside our players.
This summer, we took that to heart. We traveled the country, visited other programs, and soaked up as much knowledge as we could. And guess what? We had a blast doing it. The learning won’t stop—because if we’re going to build something truly elite, it takes nonstop dedication and a serious commitment to development.
We can’t wait to show you what we’ve learned.
How We Train: Plans + Data
Our training is driven by two key components:
Development plans
Data-driven insight
Development Plans
Every athlete is unique, and their training should reflect that. We build development plans based on age, skill level, and position, using national sport-specific guidelines (like USA Hockey’s LTAD model) as our foundation.
From there, we focus on what matters most:
Core strength
Flexibility
Sport-specific skills
Progression milestones
By certain ages, athletes should be mastering certain skills—and we make sure they’re on track. Our goal is to build complete athletes with high sport IQ and performance readiness.
One of our biggest areas of emphasis? Conditioning.
To perform at the highest level, athletes need elite:
Strength
Stamina
Flexibility
Speed
Power
We build bodies that are ready to compete—and stay healthy while doing it.
Why Data Matters
We believe development should be measurable.
To improve performance, we need a clear picture of where each athlete stands—and where they’re headed.
That’s where data comes in.
We track both the basics (height, weight, heart rate) and the specifics:
Strength & speed testing
Position-specific metrics
Shot speed
Skating efficiency
Blocking and shot tracking stats
With this data, we can:
Track progress over time—showing real growth in both skill and performance
Establish baselines for injury recovery—so athletes can return to play stronger and safer
If an athlete gets injured, we’ll know exactly where they were before—and how to get them back there without risking re-injury.
Looking Ahead: What Data Can Do
We’re just getting started. Our vision for data includes:
Predictive modeling
Partnerships with research and academic institutions
New pathways in human performance and sports science
We’re not just training players—we’re helping reshape the future of sports through innovation, insight, and impact.
It’s go time.
