If you are interested in a position at EVHC, please see the general requirements below:
All employees will be required to be American Red Cross First Aid and CPR certified. EVHC will coordinate this training, if desired. (Not required for application).
All Training Associate’s and Retail Associate’s must be 16 years or older to apply.
All Coaches (Personal Training or Hockey) must have applicable certification.
Personal Trainers are required to have NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) or similar certification.
Hockey Coaches are required to have USA Hockey Coaching Certification. A USA Hockey number must be provided during the application process.
Coaches are encouraged to seek multiple training certifications
Coaches are encouraged to specialize in specific position(s)
Skate Treadmill Coaches will be certified by HDTS and EVHC (not required for application)
Training Associates
Our Training Associates are always ready to help - their teammates and our players. Training Associates are the ‘floaters’ of the building, mostly assisting in the Extra Hour fitness center. In that area, they are perform the following duties:
Cleaning and stocking fitness equipment
Assisting Coaches with fitness equipment
Assisting Players with their fitness equipment needs or explanations of Workouts of the Day
Additional responsibilities including:
Assisting Retail Associates in ProShop, as needed
Sharpening skates/blades, as needed
Retail Associates
We need efficient, enthusiastic staff to help our customers have the best experience possible at EVHC. Our Retail Team consists of two types of associates: Retail Associate and Gear Specialists.
Retail Associate is responsible for the ProShop area. In that area, they are perform the following duties:
Cashwrap duties
Customer Account Management
Stock and Sales
Gear Specialists have additional responsibilities including:
Recommendations on equipment
Special orders for equipment
Sharpening skates/blades
Extra Hour Coaches
Our Coaches are the heartbeat of EVHC. We will only accept Coaches that push themselves to be true experts in their field. We are always learning and growing, and EVHC encourages continuing education in coaching, skills, and conditioning. It takes the best to prepare the best.
There are 2 different types of Coaches: Personal Trainers and Hockey Trainers. Each area has the following responsibilities:
Personal Trainers:
Custom plans and workouts for players
Utilize tools to track progress of players
Provide safe instruction to our players
Hockey Trainers:
Certified by EVHC to operate skate treadmills
Teach skills on treadmills and shooting lanes based on player goals
Utilize tools to track progress of players
Provide safe instruction to our players

The Trident Room
We are looking for individuals who can provide a personal touch to our short-order restaurant experience. The Trident Room serves lunch, dinner, and operates a full bar. You can’t have a hockey facility without a beer! We provide quality food, family entertainment, and a great place to gather while your player works out. We are looking for staff members in the following roles:
Front of House Associate & Bartenders
FOH Associates and Bartenders are responsible for the same duties.
Set up and break down based on scheduling, customer service, expo assistance, light cleaning
Back of House Associates
Line Cook
Shift Leader, Chef
