Special Guest Coach

At EVHC, we believe elite development comes from learning from those who have been there.

Our surprise goalie coach brings a wealth of experience, including an NCAA Division I career with multiple award nominations, followed by seven years of professional hockey in the AHL and ECHL.

Now with four years of professional coaching experience, he brings a player’s perspective to goalie development—focusing on technique, preparation, mindset, and the habits needed to compete at the next level.

Originally from Canada, his hockey background brings a lifetime of experience and a true understanding of what it takes to succeed.

Amy Rille

Growing up in New Jersey as a competitive figure skater, Coach Amy Rille brings a unique blend of precision, technique, and hockey-focused intensity to the ice. Since 1991, she has developed skaters in Virginia Beach, helping athletes translate strong skating fundamentals into improved hockey performance.

A USA Hockey Level 4 certified coach with more than eight years of experience as an assistant coach within the Hampton Roads Warriors system, Amy combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of game situations and player development.

Through specialized instruction, Coach Amy focuses on the science behind the stride—improving blade control, balance, edge work, acceleration, and lateral movement. Her approach helps players build efficient mechanics that create more speed, power, and confidence.

Coach Amy doesn’t just teach players how to skate harder—she teaches them how to skate smarter.
